Baltika Brewery Khabarovsk
Baltika-Khabarovsk is the largest brewery in the Far East. It was built in record time, over the course of 13 months. The factory was equipped with the most modern equipment of the world’s leading firms. The production capacity of the factory at its opening was 100 million liters of beer per year. To this day it increased to 230 million liters. The opening of the enterprise took place on April 11, 2003. In 2018 the brewery celebrates 15-year anniversary.
Baltika-Khabarovsk is the largest taxpayer of Khabarovsk Krai. In 15 years of the existence he transferred into the regional budget near 25 billion rubles of taxes, from which nearly 22 billion rubles excises on beer.
In beer production at the Khabarovsk factory special attention is devoted to the quality of water. Water is obtained from artesian wells on the territory of the factory and undergoes multi-stage purification and scrupulous quality controls at every step. In Baltika-Khabarovsk brewery the treatment of waste water is followed in great detail. Since 2004 the biological treatment facilities made by the German company ENVIRO CHEMIE were installed at a cost of 3,6 million US dollars (more than 103 million rubles). In 2015-2017 complex was modernized with the equipment of PAQUES BV companies, the Netherlands. Investments into modernization were 240 million rubles. Baltika-Khabarovsk is the only enterprise in the Khabarovsk Krai having a purification system on this level.
The Khabarovsk brewery produces the popular regional beer DV. When the factory was being designed and built, specialists in St Petersburg created the recipe for a proprietary beer taking into account the preferences of consumers in the Far Eastern Region. As soon as DV Lager beer appeared on the market, it won the gold medal at the International Exhibition and Fair "Khabprodmarket Vitrina-2003." Meanwhile, in the same year (2003) DV Classic was found to be best in the Interregional Amur Fair of Trade and Industry. Over the course of several years, the DV brand has remained one of the leaders in the Far East in sales volume.
Responsible employer
About 300 people work at Baltika-Khabarovsk brewery. One of our priorities is granting comfortable conditions for work of employees. They can take food at the dining room on the plant and they can use the sports complex for free. The social package of the Baltika brewery includes voluntary medical insurance, life insurance, insurance upon accident, compensation on food, existence of the equipped medical offices, additional payments for sick-lists and so forth.
Participation in life of society
Being the largest enterprise of the food industry in the Far East, the brewery stimulates development of allied industries of production in the region. Raw materials for production in PET-packing by Baltika-Khabarovsk plant is got from the Evroplast and DV-Plast plants located in Primorsky Krai, providing stable development of the enterprises.
The joint project with the city authorities and partners – containers for separate collecting waste in the yards of Khabarovsk and other Far East cities. Glass and plastic bottles and an aluminum jar leave for processing.
More than 20 thousand people for 15 years visited Baltika-Khabarovsk brewery with excursion and saw the process of beer production. Any group of adults (18+) of 10 people and more can make it.
