Classic on the Podium: Baltika 3 Wins Silver Medal at the International Beer Challenge contest

Baltika 3 won the silver award at the prestigious British competition – International Beer Challenge – in the Pilsner category.

This year, the International Beer Challenge (IBC Tasting Awards) was held in the UK for the 21st time. Currently it is one of the most highly reputed tasting competitions: a huge number of participants from more than 30 countries and 60 recognised international experts who choose the best varieties in the course of blind tasting. The final score of each sample depends on four criteria: taste, aroma, aftertaste and appearance.

IBC jury appreciated Baltika 3 classic light beer, and this brand received a silver medal in the Pilsner category. It should be noted that it is not the first prize that Baltika 3 won at this British competition – in 2015, the judges also awarded it the second most important award. At the same time, during its 26-year history, the brand has become the prize-winner of more than 30 international and national competitions.
