Herman Epstein, Vice President Information Technology Eastern Europe

In 1986, Mr. Epstein began his 13-year career at AS Aldaris Brewery (Latvia), during which he moved up the career ladder starting as IT Manager and later becoming Director of Finance, IT, and Quality. In November 1999, Mr. Epstein was appointed Group IT Manager of Baltic Beverages Holding AB. In September 2005, he became Baltika Breweries’ Director of Information Technology.

In 1986, he graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at the State University of Latvia, specializing in mathematical engineering. In 1995–1999, he worked on his MBA at Riga Business School, while also taking a number of advanced professional training courses, including intensive Novell and Microsoft programmes, a Management Excellence course at the Langley Study Centre (Great Britain), a course at the Carlsberg Brewing School (Denmark), and the World-Class IT Management course at the Management Centre Europe’s corporate learning centre (Belgium).

Herman Epstein was born on 21 September 1964. Married, with two children.

On 7 November 2011, Mr. Epstein was appointed Vice President Information Technology of Baltika Breweries.
