23.07.2004 BALTIKA HAS BEEN RUSSIA.S BEST EXPORTER FOR THREE YEARS IN A ROW
The honorary diploma naming Baltika the best exporter for the year 2003 was awarded to the Company at the annual competition held by Russia's Ministry of Economic Development. The award was for Baltika's extraordinary contribution to the expansion of the country's outside economic connections, the development of domestic industry, and the Company's high professional culture. Previously, Baltika held this title in 2001 and 2002. The Company exports all its varieties of such beer brands as Baltika, Arsenal, Don, Medovoye, Parnas, etc. The proportion of the Baltika brand in total exports is 74%. The assortment of products exported to various countries is selected with the national characters in mind. For instance, Baltika No.0 Non-alcoholic is exported to Iran. In 2003, the Company entered such new markets as Canada, Cyprus, United Arab Emirates, and Iran. The proportion of Baltika's products in Russia's total beer exports to Great Britain comes to 72%, to the USA - 75%, to Israel - 91%, and to Germany - 61%. Over the passed year, Baltika's total export sales amounted to 992,300 hectoliters, which was a 9% increase on the year. In 2003, Baltika exported 6% of everything it sold. The Company's revenues generated by export sales amounted to a total of $39.9 million, which was an 8% increase on the year. Baltika has an excellent international reputation as a company that has, for many ears, developed stably. In 2003, for the second time in a row, Baltika was named among the world's five the most respected companies by the Financial Times newspaper that, in cooperation with the PriceWaterhouseCoopers auditing firm, conducted an annual research to this effect. In 2004, Baltika continues increasing its export sales. Over the first quarter, the Company's export sales increased by 17% on the year. In May, at the Brewing Industry International Awards-2004 competition, Baltika No.8 Wheat was the only Russian beer to receive a medal. In April, Baltika's subsidiaries were created in Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Moldova, and Ukraine with a view to supporting the Company's growing export operations. These subsidiaries are responsible for assisting distributors, supplying sales and promotional equipment and technologies to them, etc. Late in 2002, the Baltika Deutschland GmbH subsidiary was set up in Hamburg, Germany. 21.07.2004 Baltika Brewing Company Continues as the Confident Leader of Russia.s Beer Market. Since the Beginning of 2004, the Company.s Share of the Market has increased by 2% to 22%
Over the second quarter of 2004, the Company's sales increased by 61%, as compared with the previous quarter, to 5.5 million hectoliters worth 7.5 billion rubles in revenues. This was also a 14% increase on the year. The growth was twice as fast as that of the whole beer market of the country, which, over the same time, increased by 6.8%. The growth was so great that Baltika's share of Russia's whole beer market came, over the first 6 months of 2004, to 22%. The rate of growth kept increasing over the whole reported period. For instance, in June 2004, the company achieved the record sales of over 2 million hectoliters, which was a 25% increase on the year. This growth naturally followed the completion of the principal stages of the restructuring of distribution, the optimization of logistics and the renovation of marketing strategy and was also due to timely investments in the development of Baltika's sales.

22.06.2004 BALTIKA BREWING COMPANY HAS COMPLETED THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW WAREHOUSE TERMINAL IN THE CITY OF NOVOSIBIRSK
The warehouse terminal in Novosibirsk was built under the program of tightening controls over the quality of products and with a view to cutting the costs of developing the sales infrastructure. The program includes the construction of Baltika's own warehouse terminals across Russia. The terminal in Novosibirsk is the fifth. It was built by Eurocity, a Novosibirsk company selected, in the course of a tender, as the general contractor. The terminal cost $4.5 million. It is Baltika's largest in Russia. With a total area of 10,000 m2, of which 8,500 m2 is storage and the rest - offices, the storing capacity of the terminal is 310,000 dekaliters of beer. The warehouse terminal is equipped with automated ventilation and heating maintaining an optimal microclimate regardless of outside conditions. Special yellow lighting installed, beer stored in the terminal is totally protected from direct sunlight. In the warehouse, the product is transported by transporter loaders made by Toyota of Japan riding on ideally smooth Master-Toped concrete floors. The terminal is connected to the corporate computer system. The Company's warehouses across Russia are interconnected by a corporate computer network with a view to establishing centralized control over the movement of products. The completion of the construction of the terminal in Western Siberia resulted in a stronger system of distribution, making it more cost-effective, and the optimization of the delivery of products to end users. The implementation of this program allows Baltika establishing its own regional direct sales network. The purposeful development of the system of distribution has already resulted in a 24% increase on the year of the Company's sales in Siberia.

21.01.2004 At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the Baltika Brewing Company was Named among Russia.s Five the Most Respected Companies
At the 34th annual world economic forum that began today in Davos, Switzerland, the results of the 6th annual worldwide research done by the Financial Times newspaper in cooperation with PricewaterhouseCoopers auditing firm were released, naming Baltika among Russia's five the most respected companies. The researchers had polled over 1,000 heads of companies and investment funds, employees of non-governmental organizations, and reporters of international mass media in over 20 countries across the world. When selecting the most respected companies, such characteristics as capitalization, social responsibility, environmental protection policies, the openness of the companies, etc. were considered. The other four were the energy giants, Gazprom, RAO UES, LUKoil, and YUKOS. Baltika was the only one among them not producing raw materials. For the first time, Russia's companies were included in The Most Respected international rating in 2002, Baltika also named among them. The Davos Forum will continue through January 25, 2004, about 2,100 people, including over 30 heads of state and 75 members of governments, from 94 countries attending. Besides the condition of world economy, such issues as the situation in the Middle East, world stability, the changes in the rating of the euro, and global warming will be discussed.

The highest 5A2 credit rating was awarded to Baltika on the basis of the Company.s financial results in the year 2002.
