09.12.2009 Baltika Breweries minority shareholders voted "for" licensed production in Kazakhstan
Baltika Breweries announced today that on 02 December 2009, the conclusion of a license agreement for production of Baltika brands at DERBES Brewery Ltd in Kazakhstan was approved via absentee balloting at the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting.
04.12.2009 Baltika begins deliveries of beer to Malaysia
At the end of November, Baltika Breweries shipped 17,000 litres of Baltika №9 Extra to Malaysia. The delivery is being made by sea from St. Petersburg to Port Klang in Malaysia.
30.11.2009 Baltika Breweries will launch an exclusive beverage for women
In the end of December there will be a new product on the market, aimed exclusively at women. That will be Eve — a refreshing drink with a light, sparkling taste and low (3.1%) alcohol content. Eve contains only natural ingredients and will come in two flavours: grapefruit and passion fruit.
19.11.2009 World class beer sommeliers vote Baltika to be the best-tasting beer
An international jury announced the results of the European Beer Star Awards, one of the most prestigious contests in the beer-brewing field, on November 18, 2009 in Nuremberg, Germany. Two sorts of the Baltika Select beer line were among those brands which received "gold." Baltika №4 Original was voted as the best beer in the Red and Amber category, while Baltika №6 Porter won in the Porter category.
26.10.2009 Baltika Breweries is increasing its presence in Latin America
In mid-October a container with 0.5 liter glass bottles of Arsenalnoe Traditional beer was shipped from Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg to Chile. The total volume of the shipment was 10,000 liters. Such beer shipment by sea takes a month and a half on average.
