02.03.2010 Baltika signs contract to ship beer to West Africa
Baltika Breweries has signed a contract to export its celebrated Russian beer to Benin, Togo, Burkina Faso and Cameroon. The agreement was the result of the company’s participation in the 7th annual Middle East Exclusive trade show in the United Arab Emirates in the beginning of February.
24.02.2010 Baltika starts deliveries of Asahi Super Dry beer to Europe
Baltika Breweries has delivered Asahi Super Dry to France and Italy. The first containers of Asahi Super Dry in the characteristic 0.44-litre Steiny bottle were shipped in late December from the Baltika brewery in St. Petersburg. The total volume of the first shipment was 35,000 litres. The European division of Asahi Breweries Ltd. will supervise sales and promotion of the brand in France and Italy.
08.02.2010 Baltika named official beer of Russian House Sochi 2014 in Vancouver
The official headquarters of Russia, Krasnodar region, and Olympic Sochi at the XXI Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver has been given the name "Russian House Sochi 2014." Baltika № 3 Classic will become the official national beer of Russian Sochi House 2014, once again confirming its status as one of the most popular brands in Russia.
09.12.2009 Baltika Breweries minority shareholders voted "for" licensed production in Kazakhstan
Baltika Breweries announced today that on 02 December 2009, the conclusion of a license agreement for production of Baltika brands at DERBES Brewery Ltd in Kazakhstan was approved via absentee balloting at the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting.
04.12.2009 Baltika begins deliveries of beer to Malaysia
At the end of November, Baltika Breweries shipped 17,000 litres of Baltika №9 Extra to Malaysia. The delivery is being made by sea from St. Petersburg to Port Klang in Malaysia.
