Baltika Breweries, part of the Carlsberg Group, passed the large-scale audit of all breweries and proved compliance of the integrated management systems (IMS) to five international standards. This year the company also got certified to ISO 50001 energy management standard for the first time.

Baltika Breweries, part of the Carlsberg Group, celebrated its 10th anniversary of supplies to Africa by launching exports to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The first brand of the company to be available on the market will be a non-alcoholic malt drink Baltika 0 Grain.

Carlsberg to achieve zero carbon emissions at its breweries by 2030 as part of industry-leading sustainability ambitions
The Carlsberg Group has committed to eliminating carbon emissions and halving water usage at its breweries by 2030 as part of its new sustainability programme — Together Towards ZERO. An intermediate step includes the exclusive use of renewable electricity at its breweries by 2022.

In spite of the Russian beer market decline, Baltika generated government revenue amounting to 112.9 bn rubles, 78 942 jobs, invested in business 3.1 bn rubles, including environmental projects, and reduced СО2 by 16%, specific water consumption — by 22% in comparison with 2010.
