7 September, in 10 Russian regions a large-scale program «Act without limits» supporting disable people kicks off. Initiator of the program is Baltika Breweries, part of the Carlsberg Group. Organizer − the Fund for regional social programs "Our Future".
“Act without limits” is the complex program based on educational and financial support of social entrepreneurs which business is related with social integration and employment of disable people.
According to Rosstat, as of January, 1 2017, the number of disable people listed in the Pension Fund of Russian Federation, amounted to 11.6 mln people above 18 years old. One of the key problems of disable people is employment. In the beginning of the year, the number of employed disable people reached 17% out of the total number.
The development of social entrepreneurship focusing on social adaptation, employment and engagement of disable people in business creates new opportunities for solving social problems. But entrepreneurs themselves also need support, regarding financial resources and expertise.

To participate in the program social entrepreneurs from the following regions are invited: Moscow, St Petersburg, Leningradskaya, Rostovskaya, Samarskaya, Voronezhskaya, Novosibirskaya, Tulskaya, Yaroslavskaya regions and Khabarovskiy krai.

That is why we have decided to launch the program that will break down barriers and open opportunities for both groups that need each other. By supporting social entrepreneurs whose business addresses problems of disable people, we hope to contribute into creation of sustainable small business models with long-term social impact”.
Activities within the program:
- Online school of social entrepreneurs aimed at educating beginners on how to create and develop social business addressing problems of disable people.
Expected results: after graduating from the school participants will start their own businesses. Development of projects from the idea to the operation activity kick off. Elaboration of business plan to present to potential investors.
- Grant contest among beginners and mature entrepreneurs. Participants are eligible for grants amounting up to 400 000 rubles. The total grants’ fund is more than 6 mln rubles. Applications are accepted till November, 17 2017 for acting projects and until March, 2 2018 for start-ups.
- Support of the projects, which received grants over next 12 months.
