Sergei Skoromkin was born October 25, 1961 in the village of Kordovo, Kuraginsky region, Krasnoyarsk district.
In 1984 he graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Agricultural Institute after majoring in Electrification of Agriculture.

In 1996, Sergei Skoromkin began working at the Krasnoyarsk brewery Pikra. He held the positions of chief power engineer, chief engineer, technical director, and director of the production department.

On December 1, 2005, Sergei Skoromkin was appointed Executive Director of Pikra.
From February, 2006 to January, 2007, he held the post of Acting President of Pikra OJSC.

On January 9, 2007, Sergei Skoromkin became Director of the brewery of the Company in Novosibirsk, which is under construction.
