Aleksandr Skorobogatov was born 1 January 1958 in the village of Glazok, in the Michurinsky District of Tambov Oblast.

He graduated from the Michurinsky Food Industry Technical School with a degree in Food and Beverage Industry Machinery and Equipment.

Aleksandr began his career with Baltika Breweries in 1996 as Head of Transport Department.

In 1999 he became Deputy Head of the bottling department at the Baltika-St Petersburg brewery. In August 2002 Aleksandr was appointed head of the department and held the position for seven years.

Since 1 September 2009 Aleksandr Skorobogatov has been Head of the Baltika-Vena subsidiary.
