Sergei Babinsky was born on 24 August 1969 in the city of Zaporozh’e (Ukraine). He graduated from the Automotive Department of the State Technical University in the city of Zaporozh’e. He continued his education at the Scandinavian Brewery School.

For more than 10 years, Sergei Babinsky’s career was closely linked to the OJSC Bezalkogolny Kombinat Slavutich. He started working there in 1997 as a document preparer in the Procurement Department. From 1998 through 2000, he worked as the head of the transportation section, then he was appointed the factory’s Manager of Logistics, after which he became Regional Manager for Logistics with responsibility for the Eastern region of Ukraine.

In 2003-2006, Sergei Babinsky held the position of National Manager for Transportation and Distribution. In 2006, he was appointed Deputy Director of the Kiev Brewery. Beginning in 2007, he became Director of the Kiev brewery of OJSC Bezalkogolny Kombinat Slavutich.

He is married and has two daughters.

As of 1 January 2009, Sergei Babinsky has been appointed Director of the Baltika-Chelyabinsk subsidiary.
