Dmitriy Vizir was born September 29, 1975 in Leningrad.
He graduated from the Voronezh State Technology Academy with a degree as mechanical engineer specializing in food industry equipment. From 1999 to 2003, he studied management in several different programmes. In 2006 he graduated with distinction from the Scandinavian School of Beer Brewing.

Dmitriy Vizir began his professional career in 1997 as a production unit mechanic at the Ekaterinburg Meat Processing Works. In the period from 1999 to 2003, he worked as Chief Engineer at a meat plant in Voronezh.

In 2003, he started working at the brewery in Voronezh, where he was employed in a number of different functions ranging from Chief Mechanic to Director of Production.

On July 22, 2006, Dmitriy Vizir was appointed Acting Director of the Baltika subsidiary in Voronezh.
