Anton Artemiev was born in 1960 in Leningrad. In 1983 he earned his diploma as oceanologer from the Geography Department of Leningrad State University. During the period from 1983 to 1988, he was a researcher at the Institute of the Arctic and the Antarctic. In 1989-1993 he took up the position of lecturer, later becoming dean of faculty at the International Management Institute of St Petersburg (IMISP). He continued his studies at Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) and at Henley Management College (Great Britain). During 1992-2000 Mr. Artemiev headed the Russian operations department of Bossard Consultants (since 1998 - Gemini Consulting). In 1992 Anton Artemiev was directly involved in making recommendations that led to Baltika Brewery’s attracting foreign investments, providing a great boost to the Company’s development and setting the preconditions for its success on the Russian and world markets.
In June, 2000 Anton Artemiev was named Executive Vice President of Baltic Beverages Holding AB (Stockholm, Sweden). On January 1, 2005 he became Acting President of Baltika Breweries. On May 10, 2005 Anton Artemiev was officially appointed President of Baltika Breweries. In April 2008 Anton Artemiev appointed Senior Vice President, Eastern Europe of Carlsberg Breweries A/S.
