Maksim joined Carlsberg Group in 2002 at the “Zolotoi Ural” Brewery (now Baltika – Chelyabinsk brewery) in the position of Brand Manager. After the merger of four Russian companies in the Group was appointed Senior Brand Manager of ‘Arsenalnoye’ brand, and later promoted to Marketing Manager responsible for several national and regional brands. In 2007, he was appointed Senior Brand Manager of ‘Baltika’ brand. Since 2008, Maksim has occupied the position of Brand Development Director and within his area of responsibility contributed to the extension of company brand portfolio.
He holds a degree in economics and management from the South Ural State University and an MBA degree in strategic marketing from the Stockholm School of Economics. In 2011-2012, he took part in the Carlsberg Accelerated Leaders Development Programme.
Maksim Lazarenko was born on 14 May 1978 in Chelyabinsk. Married with two children.
