DV is a beer with Far Eastern character and pride of Baltika-Khabarovsk brewery. The history of this largest regional brand began in April 2003 with the brewery’s inauguration. The name DV was born in a contest held among the residents of Khabarovsk region in autumn 2002.
Since 2003, the brand demonstrates steady growth. Currently DV can be bought in 95% outlets of the Far Easter. The brand is constantly evolving and supplementing its product line with new sorts. DV Live was launched in 2007, DV Ice in 2009, and DV Rice in 2012. The new launches greatly increased the sales volumes and the brand’s market share.
The brand image and promotion are supported by continuous innovations. In 2011 the product was restyled, the label and the 1.5 liter PET packages were completely renewed. That made DV more premium and youth-oriented.
The Far East is a special region where you can feel the Asian spirit like in no other part of Russia. Automobiles, cuisine, drinks originating from Asian countries became an inseparable part of the Far Easterners’ life. It is no wonder that this beer sort brewed according to Asian traditions appeared here.
The new sort was launched in April 2012. This pale beer is brewed according to a unique recipe with the addition of rice. It makes the beer structure lighter and imparts freshness to the beverage. DV Rice is an excellent refresher on a hot day, greatly fits for hanging out with friends and is ideal with Asian dishes.
The high standards of quality and love of the consumers to this brand are proven by many awards of regional fairs and exhibitions. DV beer is the winner of the Interregional Amur Trade and Industrial Fair in 2003 – 2008, the International Fair Exhibition KhabProdMarket, Showcase 2003 and DalPishcheProm 2006. In 2006 DV Classic and in 2007 DV Live became the winners of the contest Top-10 Products of Khabarovsk. In 2011 the new DV Ice sort was awarded a gold medal.
Today the brand is represented with five sorts: DV Classic, DV Ice, DV Strong, DV Live, and DV Rice. The sorts are produced both in glass 0.5 liter bottles and in 1.5 and 2.5 liter PET. Also DV Classic and DV Ice are sold in 30 liter kegs.
